German hanger is made from aluminum. The aluminum alloy has a low-density which makes it lightest weight alloy. The density of the aluminum alloy is one- third of the weight of steel, which is the most preferred lightweight metal.

Being littler then steel it reduces the load-bearing pressure & it is easy to transport and construct the tent! The added advantage is aluminum frame is less expensive than the steel frame.

Being littler than steel does not make German hanger fragile, Aluminum has a strength between 40 MPa to 700MPa. Generally, the material used in German hanger has 300MPa strength, equivalent to Q235 steel. It makes German hanger wind resistant & hanger can bear winds speeds up to 100km/h.

The aluminum alloy is corrosion resistance making it rainproof, which gives the German Hanger a Service life of more than 15 years.
